"Listen, there's a hell of a universe next door. Let's go."
There's a theory out there that says we've actually seen more than just the universe we think we know – that says there are other versions of us out there in other, perhaps greater, places. This theory tells us that we visit and see these other universes when we shut our eyes – but how many people actually remember their dreams?
This prompts another question: how many universes have I seen and forgotten? This is the one question that plagues my mind constantly – I can't bear the thought of having seen utter magnificence and not having a single memory of it. I think writing is one way of trying to recover those forgotten universes – the words inside us that remind us of what brilliance exists in the wonderful contraption that is the human imagination.
So here they are: my forgotten universes.
